Project Description
DCI conducts Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) according to the standards and practices for All Appropriate Inquires in 40CFR Part 312 (AAI). All Phase I ESAs seek to identify environmental cause(s) for concern on or near the subject property by interviewing the current property owner(s) and/or individuals knowledgeable of the site, inspecting the site, and reviewing records search data for the area (including aerial photographs). Other tasks conducted by DCI as part of Phase I ESAs have included review of Sanborn maps, oil and gas well reports, Army Corps of Engineers wetland regulations; identification of possible asbestos, mold, and lead-based paint issues; and discussions with other environmental consultants, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) specialists, and Army Corps of Engineers personnel.
Where applicable, recommendations are offered regarding further investigation or cleanup of the subject property.

Project Description
DCI collected surface water samples from private ponds where negative environmental impacts were suspected from industrial or oilfield activity. Lists of analyses were developed based on the suspected sources of contamination. Analytical results, associated interpretations, and path forward recommendations were offered.
